Sagar Khadga

Hi, this is Sagar Khadga from National Campus. Working with the Deaf and Sarah Giri has opened one great door of experience. Life is amazing. When Sarah asked me to take dance lessons from Sandip Soparrkar's Trainer, I did not know what to say. The lady is a strong person and knows when to put the right pressure... with love. How could I say no! And anyway, if I was not good enough she would ask me to leave and that would be the end. But that 'end' did not happen and now I do not want that 'end' to happen!

Yes, I am now one of Sandip Soparrkar's Trainer for the Deaf and Hearing students in Nepal. This is in itself a privilege for me. But Deaf dancing to music they do not hear? This was something I was not aware of. Just stupid and ignorant. Now, am coming out of my ignorance... just coming out. The Deaf are pulling me out. Being with them, getting to know Deaf Culture has taught me so much. Life will never be the same for me. Sarah, thank you.

I now look forward to working with the Deaf in the future. Learning another language, understanding a new culture. I want to say thank-you to Alysa De'cruz, Sandip's Trainer for training me. And finally, I have one big and sincere thank you to the Deaf for being there, for making this beautiful difference in my life.
