I went to the School for the Deaf in Katmandu, discovered my interest in fine art, participated in inter-school and cross country art contests and won.
Somewhere then, I met Deaf Sarah Giri. She was born Hearing but now one of us Deaf. First, I joined her Deaf Dance group and still am part of her performing team. But something else happened. Sarah invited me for the Cartoon Creation Workshop for a week. On the final day ceremony, I was offered a job. I now make cartoons and other pictures for a children's book publishing house. But this is not all. I have prepared some 20 paintings with Deaf messages for the Deaf Art exhibition Sarah is planning. Long journey still to travel together!!
